Hello! I'm your neighborhood Public Works employee turn DevOps consultant for AWS. I started my career working for a local municipality building traffic signs, plowing snow, cleaning streets, and competing in snowplow rodeos (yes that's a thing). My passion for technology started when I was given a SUSE Linux cd and an old Dell tower. I tinkered with a stack of computers before taking a detour into culinary arts in college and a stint at the local municipality. Since then I've been building systems for corporations and open source communities alike. I've been told I'm a wizard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ when it comes to infrastructure as code, weaving networks and compute together like a digital tapestry. But, I'm not all about the backend - I like to dip my toes in the frontend pool every now and then too.

So, what brings us together? Well, a few of my colleagues have been nudging me to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and share some of the wisdom I've picked up along the way. I think my work is pretty cool, but who knows - you might find it useful too!

If you want to chat, feel free to reach out on LinkedIn.

Thanks and happy building!
